Mealtimes in our house weren’t always rooted with joy! When children refuse to eat what’s on their plate, it can feel like a battle rather than fun, family time. But as a mum of three, I found that when my children helped grow and cook their own food, they were far more excited to try it!
That’s what inspired Seedlings of Hope - an engaging, hands-on way for families to learn, create, and connect through gardening, cooking, and storytelling. To keep little ones engaged, I’ve woven in an apocalyptic adventure, together with hand-drawn illustrations that capture the magic of growing, cooking, and discovery, making the journey feel even more immersive.
My hope is that this journal helps families reconnect - with nature, food, and each other - one seed at a time.
Happy growing and happy cooking!
